Details of the activity: The basic acquisitions for critical thinking were explained and applications were made. Adult and young participants (5+5) put forward their own ideas about the situations given to them and these ideas were mutually interpreted. The differences that may occur in their perspectives on news and events were evaluated by two generations. (problem –solvıng)
We asked our group of adult and elderly participants what they know about critical internet use and what this definition means to them. They each wrote down their independent thoughts on a piece of paper and then elaborated on them orally. Key points of agreement were identified.
After the definition and points to be considered in critical internet use were determined, a sample problem was presented to the participants.
'Turkey is facing a serious migrant crisis'
Positive and negative publications on this subject were presented in internet searches. And the participants were asked to confirm the accuracy or falsehood of the news in their hands. The subject of what could be the target of these publications was discussed.

In the prepared toolkit, the topic of 'Online dangers and critical thinking' was taken as a guide to clarify the difference between disinformation and misinformation.
